AVPD works within a cultural interdisciplinary field where they unite artistic, architectural, scientific, sociological and urban knowledge about the three important points: “Man-Machine-Space”.

AVPD’s inspiration comes from science fiction film, literature, computer games and virtual architectures. They concentrate on spatial, conceptual installations and physical spaces, which are constellations of virtual and real architectures. These examinations on different spaces in real and virtual worlds are motivated by the growing changes in society and their effect on how we perceive reality.

AVPD creates meta-architectures where the normal perceptual view of the spectator is twisted and a new experience of space occurs. In their works, AVPD tries to rethink the triangle constellation of the human being, the artwork and the room in between. They are interested in how the space effects the spectators’ perception and psychological emotions and how s/he motivates her/himself to grasp the space in a cognitive, emotional and intellectual way.
